I was very pleased and had a wonderful experience. Dr. Gonzalez and his staff are top notch. They are highly educated and skilled medical professionals. They were so caring and gentle. They always explained everything and told me if I had any questions to let them know. The facility is modern and beautiful. My room was very accommodating, spacious and attractive. They even provide a personal safe for your money or passport. I would highly recommend oasis of hope bariatrics to anybody considering bariatric surgery.

Oasis is a beautiful location, right near the beach with a wonderful and caring staff who are passionate about the services they offer. I came from Salem,Oregon and felt safer in Tijuana than I do in Portland, Oregon. The staff were very attentive and caring and I only had a couple of times where we had to use a translation app to communicate. The doctor who did my surgery was thoughtful and took the time to listen to me, which I rarely get in the US. Oasis of Hope Bariatrics is a top notch facility! I was very pleased with the care that I received during my stay for a gastric sleeve. Every staff member was kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable. The facility is clean. The beds are very comfortable. The WiFi is fast. They clearly communicated every step of the way. The patient coordinator was quick to reply with any questions. The nurses were amazing. The nutritionist was thorough. Dr. Camelo was the best! Oasis of Hope was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! My gastric sleeve was September 29, 2023. I chose this facility based on a recommendation of a friend that went here before I did. Scheduling my gastric sleeve was easy and from the moment I was picked up in San Diego I never felt unsafe. All of the staff were very nice and caring. Gaston was my coordinator and when he found out my back was hurting from the thin mattress in my room he immediately spoke to the nurses and they moved me to a different room with a more comfortable bed. Oasis Of Hope is the absolute best place to go to! I went there for gastric sleeve in July of 2023. The place is outstanding…from the staff, to the cleanliness, the top notch care, literally everything was phenomenal! From the time I arrived until the time I left I was treated with the upmost care!
